ROSES OF PEACE

Ambassador Programme

The Roses of Peace (ROP) Ambassador Programme is a signature effort by Roses of Peace to invest in the next generation of inter-racial and inter-faith leaders and social influencers. Through this initiative Roses of Peace seeks to empower and enable passionate youths to spread the messages of peace, love, harmony and kindness among all races and religions in Singapore and shape a diverse and inclusive generation of community leaders. ROP Ambassadors will belong to a core group of young leaders who will learn to build bridges between different communities and inspire ongoing inter-racial and inter-religious initiatives on the ground.

The programme offers various opportunities for youths to deepen their knowledge and expand their expertise through a variety of activities and training programmes. The ROP Ambassadors will also have the opportunity to:

Engage with community leaders and various stakeholders to gain first-hand knowledge of racial and religious relations in Singapore

Learn how to manage sensitive issues among different races and faith groups in Singapore through the training on facilitation of interfaith dialogues

Be trained on digital media engagement strategies to promote peace and harmony

Learn to build and manage your personal brand

Build your network with peers and like-minded individuals

Be immersed in a vibrant, diverse and inclusive culture
